You Have Beautiful Feet

Every year, hundreds of thousands of American dollars are expended just on shoes. Traditionally girls have been the shoe collectors, but recently many boys have taken a keen interest in footwear. From stylish emo skate shoes to timeless dress shoes, everybody owns a minimum of one nice pair of shoes.

If a majority of the population found out that God thought they had beautiful feet, would it alter their love of shoe shopping? It is so. Regardless of size, color, or shape, your feet are incredibly beautiful in God's eyes if you have an open heart and a willingness to share the gospel with those around you.

To find some good insight into what God thinks of our feet, read Isaiah 52:7. This passage in the Bible includes, "How beautiful...are the feet of those who bring good news," and the message is seen again in Romans 10:15. As it is illustrated here, if you are bold enough to tell other people about your faith, you will have beautiful feet also.

Why does God bother talking about our feet in the Bible? Why not our heads or our arms? God speaks of feet in various chapters in the Bible. "God's word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths," or so Psalm 119:105 states. If we use the Bible to guide us and tell us where to put our feet, they should always be standing and walking in his light. Therefore our feet will always be a pretty sight.

Grasping this idea, some people have decided to actually wear “Christian” shoes. Wearing this type of footwear recognizes the beauty of your feet. After all, they are God’s feet, as the Audio Adrenaline song "Hands and Feet" says. Christian shoes printed with biblical verses and religious statements are readily available for those who want them.

This is just the type of footwear for people who want to make a statement about what they believe, to walk in the light, and have pretty feet. Everybody's individualism can be captured as these shoes come in a multitude of styles and sizes.

Feet of all shapes and sizes are beautiful to God even without Christian footwear, but wearing it helps to spread the good news of the gospel. When you bring up your religious beliefs with a coworker or share the gospel in some other way with a friend, keep in mind how beautiful God thinks your feet really are.

Don't fret about what people think about you or your feet. Psalm 121:3 states that "He will not let your foot be moved" if you are standing with Him.
Author Resource:- Bethany Chastain’s daughter first introduced her to Christian footwear. Now, Bethany has many pairs of Christian shoes, along with other scripture t-shirts and Christian shirts. Why? Because Bethany knows that even her feet can express a message, and she wants it to be the message of Jesus Christ.
